Midas contract with CMA CGM for traffic on the Caribbean has been extended until April 2014 with an additional option until April 2015. Midas is used in CMA CGM liner traffic between Philipsburg, Christiansted, San Juan, Charlotte Amalie, Basseterre, Pointe A Pitre and Gustavia.

The cooperation with CMA CGM has been very successful and we see the extended contract as a clear sign that the charterer is satisfied with the crew and the vessel.

Acciona Trasmediterranea (Trasmed) has used their option to extend the contract for Miranda until June 2013. Additionally there is a option to extend the contract until December 2013. Miranda is used in Trasmed liner service between Valencia, Barcelona, Mallorca and Ibiza.

Trasmed motivated the extension as follows Chrtrs consider Owners and Owners crew very professional and the Vessel a good RoRo and these are the reasons why they wish to extend the contract.

In the present weak market situation we see these two extended contracts as important for us since they make it possible to keep the vessels and crew employed.
