Godby Shipping is a privately owned shipping company established 1973. The main activities are ship owning, management and chartering. The company's business concept is to offer high-quality shipping services which are tailor-made to the customer's requirements.
<p>
The fleet operated by Godby Shipping has been substantially modernised during the last few years. Since 1989 the group has taken delivery of five ro-ro new-buildings from Sietas shipyard in Germany.
<p>
The vessels are employed in Transfennicas liner traffic between Hanko in Finland and Lübeck in Germany. The cargoes are mainly paper products, containers, trailers and other ro-ro cargoes.
<p>
Godby Shipping's office is located in Godby at the heart of the Aland Islands. In total, the company employs around 120 persons.
